How do you eat an Elephant?

Maybe the thought of looking for those digital files seems huge, but as they say - How do you eat an Elephant? One bite at a time. As it doesn’t have to be done all at once, slow and steady wins the race.

Those photo files could be in any of the following places:

  • on old phones

  • on cameras & memory cards

  • external hard drives

  • memory sticks/zip drives/thumb drives

  • CD’s/DVD’s

  • desktop computers/iPad’s/tablets/laptops

  • emails

  • photo sharing websites

  • online backup websites

  • family history websites

  • social media

What about printed photos and items you wish to keep/document your life

  • photo albums

  • photos boxes

  • framed pictures

  • scrapbooks/year books

  • storage place/garages/offices

  • family member’s homes

  • drawers/closets/bookcases

  • on the fridge

  • jewellery boxes

  • filing cabinets

  • even undeveloped film

And no elephants were harmed in this blog post. You don’t seriously think I would eat one do you?
